The Lighthouse Project, in our work to assist the falsely accused and wrongfully convicted, has had the opportunity to observe problems with the current justice system and the pressures being put upon it.
The Canadian government opened up an inquiry into the failings of the justice system and the increasing loss of public faith in that system. When the inquiry was expanded to include submissions from the public, Lighthouse responded. This is our reply:
